Scoliosis is a side-way spinal curvature usually in a ‘S’ shape or a ‘C’ shape, with a curve size of 10 degrees or more. The curved spine involves a 3-dimensional rotation of the vertebrae. Thoracic and lumbar spines are commonly affected. Most of these spinal curvatures have an unknown origin.
